Srivi Ramasubramanian, associate professor at Texas A&M University and our executive director, hosted “Meet the Pro(f)s,” an informal, curated “speed-dating” type of networking event on June 20, 2013 for “pro(f)s” – professionals and professors – that brought together London-based creative media professionals and communication educators/scholars from around the world who are passionate about using media for social good. The event featured a special preview of the inaugural Media Rise Festival, to be held on September 23-29, 2013 in Washington, D.C.
